Thông tin chi tiết
Tóm tắt : | The Regional Office organized this workshop to enhance an understanding of current concepts in patient safety, in particular the need for a systems approach. The report identifies common trends and issues regarding patient safety in the Region, describes ongoing initiatives, and defines priorities areas for regional collaboration including prevention of health care-associated infections, the role of frontline health care workers, the role of patients and their families, and the rational use of medicines. The recommendations formed the basis for Resolution SEA/RC59/R3 on 'Promoting Patient Safety in Health Care' which was adopted by the Regional Committee at their 59th Session in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in August 2006. |
