Thông tin chi tiết
Tóm tắt : | Use of tobacco and exposure to second-hand smoke are major contributors to the chronic disease and economic burden of citizens. They also have a negative impact on the national economy of Bangladesh. Scientific research has revealed that tobacco control actually brings significant health and economic benefits without harming the economy. The present study on the impact of tobacco-related illnesses in Bangladesh presents scientific evidence for strengthening tobacco control measures in the country for consequent economic gain at both individual and national levels, and for an overall reduction of morbidity and mortality due to tobacco use. |
