Tóm tắt : | This publication, entitled 'NCD risk behaviours among adults in theSouth-East Asia Region: Findings from STEPS and GATS', conveys themo s t re ce nt q u a nt i t at i ve s u r ve i l l a n ce re s u l t s fo c u s i n g o nnoncommunicable disease (NCDs)-related risk behaviours amongadults from the WHO STEPwise approach to NCD risk factor surveillance(STEPS) and tobacco use among adults from the Global Adult TobaccoSurvey (GATS) in Member States of the WHO South-East Asia Region.This publication contains selected indicators relating to tobacco use andother related risk behaviours of adults in Member States of the WHOSouth-East Asia Region. The tobacco indicators are taken from GATS orSTEPS and other indicators relating to risk behaviours (history– dietarybehaviours, physical activity, alcohol use, cervical cancer screening;physical measurements – body mass index, blood pressure, waistcircumference; biochemical measurements – fasting blood glucoselevel, blood glucose level 2 hours after glucose load, total bloodcholesterol, urine sodium and urine creatinine) are taken from STEPS.The latest findings from surveys conducted in Member States arepresented in the publication. |
