Tóm tắt : | Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) represent a serious threat to the economic and social development of Member States of the WHO South-East Asia Region, accounting for 64% of all deaths. Since 2001, WHO has been carrying out NCD Country Capacity Surveys (CCS) periodically to develop country capacity profiles, monitor progress, and identify gaps and unmet needs in each country in the area of NCD prevention and control.This report summarize the status of national capacity to prevent and control NCDs in the WHO South-East Asia Region based on the data collected between January and July 2017 as part of the Sixth NCD CCS survey. The report highlights the major achievements and gaps that still need to be addressed to prevent and control NCDs. |
