3 p. Health ministers from the Western Pacific Region met virtually on 8 April 2020 to share experiences and stand in solidarity to address COVID-19. Three heads of government made recorded interventions. They were joined by 20 ministers and vice ministers who were among the representatives from 29 countries and areas to participate in the meeting, as well as high-level WHO officials. This report documents the meeting discussions, which focused on challenges experienced by countries in their responses and future issues to be addressed. Countries agreed that all Member States in the Region are in this together and will only be able to get out together.
