Thông tin chi tiết
Tóm tắt : | 2 p. In the Autonomous Region of Madeira, more than 98% of the health-care resources (1080 physicians and 2272 nurses) are Portuguese. In the near future, the population of Madeira will be less than 100 000, with more than 30% over the age of 65. This situation will call for the reorganization of available health care resources and for different specializations of health-care workers; for example, Madeira needs more specialists in geriatric medicine and occupational-health. The increasing use of digital information and artificial intelligence will also have an impact on the delivery of health services and on the way in which health personnel carry out their work. |
