Thông tin chi tiết
Tóm tắt : | 11 p. Turkmenistan is currently attempting to provide a comprehensive range of health services, with spending estimated at only US$ 6 per capita. With the lowest life expectancy of all the FSU countries at the end of 1992, the highest infant mortality rate of those countries, and the fifth highest maternal mortality rate (World Bank), in order to meet the needs of the population, government spending should be directed towards more priority areas. A process of prioritisation should be initiated, using epidemiological and economic information, and involving MOHMI officials, health professionals and users of health services. |
