This report presents the outcomes of the workshop “One Health: An Interdisciplinary Approach to Address Foodborne and Zoonotic Diseases in the Western Balkans and the Republic of Moldova”. The workshop brought together 27 experts from different sectors to discuss the practical implementation of the One Health approach in the sub-region. The workshop highlighted the challenges and opportunities of applying One Health principles to address complex health issues that affect humans, animals, and the environment, such as foodborne and zoonotic diseases. The participants shared their experiences and best practices from different contexts, and proposed recommendations for enhancing cross-sectoral collaboration, coordination, surveillance, and financing. The report provides a valuable reference for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers who are interested in advancing One Health in the Western Balkans and the Republic of Moldova. v, 26 p.
