It explores the foodcategories known to be the main source of industrial trans-fatty acids, based on similar international surveys, detailing individual datafor a total of 268 food samples. It also explores the main food categories responsible for the presence of trans-fatty acids in thePortuguese diet, as well as the main determinants of their presence.This publication was funded through the Biannual Collaborative Agreement with Portugal and a voluntary contribution of theMinistry of Health of the Russian Federation.
