This document includes the progress reports on the following selected Regional Committee resolutions:1. Traditional medicines: Delhi Declaration (SEA/RC67/R3);2. Strengthening health workforce education and training in the Region (SEA/RC67/R6);3. Intensifying activities towards control of dengue and elimination of malaria in the South-East Asia Region (SEA/RC71/R4);4. Beginning of the Decade of Action for ending viral hepatitis, HIV and STIs as public health threats by 2030 in the South-East Asia Region (SEA/RC74(4)) and paragraph 31 of document (SEA/RC75/15);5. Paro Declaration by the Health Ministers of Member States at the Seventy-fifth session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia on universal access to people-centred mental health care and services (SEA/RC75/R1);6. Monitoring progress and acceleration plan for NCDs, including oral health and integrated eye care, in the South-East Asia Region (SEA/RC75/R2); and7. Advancing health emergency preparedness and response in the WHO South-East Asia Region (SEA/RC76(1)). The High-Level Preparatory Meeting for the Seventy-seventh Session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia, held in New Delhi, India on 2–4 September 2024, reviewed each progress report and made recommendations on them. The recommendations made by the HLP Meeting have been consolidated as Addendum 1 (SEA/RC77/11 Add. 1) to this Working Paper, and are being presented to the Seventy-seventh Session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia for consideration. The related Regional Committee resolutions covered in this Agenda item are appended to this Working Paper as Addendum 2 (SEA/RC77/11 Add. 2).
