Thông tin chi tiết
Tóm tắt : | 10 p. The new policy documents, such as the Budapest Declaration on Environment and Health, the Global Framework on Chemicals, World Health Assembly resolution WHA76.17 on the health impact of chemicals, waste and pollution provide guidance to countries in their efforts to better protect human health and the environment from the negative impacts of chemicals. Several areas of action require harmonized approaches and activities at the regional level, whereas in many other instances priorities need to be set at a national level, given the differences between countries and subregions in terms of the use and management of chemicals and the existing risks. To address the need for identifying regional priorities in chemical safety in a new policy landscape, the WHO European Centre for Environment and Health organized a meeting of national experts in Bonn, Germany on 4–6 June 2024. This publication summarizes the discussions at the meeting, which created a base for planning regional activities in chemical safety till 2030 and beyond. |
