Grade 2-4–These books give basic information in an easy-to-read format. Colorful photographs and maps are accompanied by simple, short sentences such as Florida is bordered by two states. Georgia lies to the north. Alabama is to the north and northwest. Sections entitled Fun Facts and Famous Citizens are useful, but pop up right in the middle of the texts, disrupting their flow and pace.
