Tóm tắt : | This report deals with the situations of household economics in Hoa Binh province--a transitional area between the Red river delta and the Northwest uplands, and finds out advantages and difficulties of the area's development regarding economic activities and related factors. In Doi moi (Revolution) period, household economics of Hoa Binh's uplanders has been improved. Production models such as: Integrated agro-forestry, RVAC (forest-garden-pond stable), etc. have been applied, but still low in quanlity and quantity. Some economical analysis show that the living standard and the income of local people are still low. In economic structure, incomes from agriculture hold 76.9%. Due to the low incomes, the expenditures are correlatively low. The report indicates six problems/issues that need to be concerned, are as follow: People's consciousness of economic development Educational level and knowledge of modern technology of household's head Limitation of applying science-tecnology Policies are not appropriated to all areas Low infrastructures, and High population growth The strategy of developing local economy, due to the above problems, is to develop household economy following goods production orientation (or market economy). The report also gives out some recommendations for carrying out the strategy, including solutions for land issues, capita, education, and information. The recommendations are closely concerned to ethnic minority people's life. |
