Since its establishment, the Centre for Environmental Health Activities (CEHA) has been collecting books, videos, slides, and other appropriate materials that may be used in individual and group education and training. The materials in the collection are suitable for a wide array of users, be it in the field of water supply and sanitation, food safety, solid waste management, chemical safety, epidemiology, risk assessment, use of pesticides or any other subject in the field of environmental health. Ranging from specialized technical handbooks for professionals to visual aids for use with less educated people, the collection is comprehensive. In most cases those dealing with teaching and training will be able to find suitable materials in CEHA' s collection. As the training materials have no value unless they are actually put to use in the field, CEHA is making every effort to make the materials accessible to professionals and institutions in the Region. This Directory of training and learning materials-in short, TLM directory-is one way that you, as a user, can gain access to CEHA' s collection. In this TLM directory some 600 entries are listed. Most materials were acquired from outstanding institutions worldwide viii ; 88 p. ; 30 cm.
