The 28th meeting of the Consultative Committee for Programme Development and Management (CCPDM) recommended that the working papers relating to resolutions of regional interest passed by the previous sessions of the Executive Board (EB) and the World Health Assembly (WHA), and a review of the draft provisional agendas of the future sessions of the Executive Board and the World Health Assembly should be combined and brought out as one document. The 37th meeting of the CCPDM proposed that, at its next meeting, all resolutions and decisions of the EB sessions and WHA should be submitted for their information, review, suggestions or comments. These proposals were endorsed by subsequent sessions of the Regional Committee. Accordingly, this document is submitted for the consideration of the Regional Committee. Part I of the document relates to all resolutions and decisions of the 107th and 108th Sessions of the EB and the Fifty-fourth WHA. Part II relates to a review of the draft provisional agendas of 109th session of the EB and the Fifty-fifth WHA. These agendas are not yet available and will be submitted separately. Part I contains 10 decisions and 16 resolutions emanating from the 107th session of the Executive Board in January 2001; and 11 decisions and 22 resolutions by the Fifty-Fourth World Health Assembly held in May 2001. The 108th session of the Executive Board adopted 11 decisions and one resolution. The salient information from the operative paragraphs of the decisions/resolutions as well as actions proposed for Member States and WHO are presented briefly in tabular form. Copies of the decisions and resolutions of the EB sessions and the WHA held in 2001 are also attached.
