| Tóm tắt : | Ending tuberculosis by 2030 requires not only strong health systems but also investments inrights-based, people-centred care. This document was developed in the framework of the projectAdvancing people-centred quality tuberculosis care: TB-REP, which was funded by the Global Fundand designed to support countries in eastern Europe and central Asia in ending tuberculosis throughthe implementation of a new model of care for early detection of drug-resistance tuberculosis andits treatment. The document pays particular attention to key populations by recommending a set ofcommunity-based services to engage and reach vulnerable populations, and to meet the complex andcomprehensive needs of affected people. The document recommends engaging affected communitiesand civil society actors in service delivery along patients’ pathways and provides a set of practicaltools for the implementation of the standards for community-based, nonmedical services. Theservices outlined in this guide are meant to support and complement services delivered by health-careproviders and shift the focus from medical settings to the needs of people affected by tuberculosis intheir community settings. The document can be used by national policy-makers, national programmemanagers, and community representatives to set up service delivery to affected communities and costoptions for implementation purposes. viii, 91 p. |
